Searches from the back issues of FELA Reporter and
Railroad Liability Monitor, published by Lewis Laska, can
be obtained by calling Lorenda Patterson at 800-298-6288.
Most searches can be completed by the next business day.
Sometimes, by using a credit card for payment, your
search results will reach you within 24 hours!
Cost of a search is $20 per case found, up to a maximum
of $250. If no cases are found on your request, there is
no charge.
Each search is customized to your needs. Tell Lorenda
what you need and those are the cases she will look for.
FELA Reporter and Railroad Liability Monitor publishes
primarily cases involving claims against railroads by
railroad employees, but also included are railroad
crossing cases and cases involving passengers and
trespassers of railroads. In certain areas, such as back
injury claims by railroad workers, you will probably want
to be more specific, such as asking for cases involving
a back injury while dismounting from a train. In other
areas a broader search request will retrieve a better
selection of cases, but you are the one to decide what
suits your needs.
FELA Reporter and Railroad Liability Monitor has been
published monthly since October 1988. Some of the
earliest issues of the reporter have not been
incorporated into our database, but issues from 1991
forward are searchable.
Once your search request is clear, the search will be
performed. You will then be called with the information
regarding the number of cases found which met your search
needs. Once this is determined, you then send a check,
or use a MasterCard, Visa or The American Express Card(c)
to receive your cases. Searches which are of ten or
fewer cases can be faxed. If you need Federal Express
service, just have your Federal Express number ready.
